Theft of Property

The #1 crime on the CSU Fullerton campus is theft of personal and state property. The majority of thefts that occur on campus are “thefts of opportunity.” Do not leave personal belongings unattended.  Do not trust strangers to watch your personal belongings.  Record the make, model, and serial numbers for electronics and valuables.

Faculty and Staff are advised to lock office doors and place valuable items in locked drawers when leaving their office, even for a moment.  It only takes seconds to enter an unlocked office and take personal belongings.

University Police strongly recommends that Faculty, Staff, and Students report all theft crimes in a timely manner to file a police report and increase the possibility of recovering your property.
